This section provides the player with essential tips and tricks to succeed on his/her quest.

|
Tip #1: Tread With Care
|
|
At the very beginning of your journey you must walk with caution. If you follow the right wall you will notice that the ground has a different shade to it. This indicates a trap - if you walked upon the ground it breaks open dropping you into lava for a quick death.
|
|

|
|
Tip #2: Descending into the Catacombs
|
 |
To enter the Catacombs beneath the Shrine of Oath you must use Fire magic to burn away the spider web that blocks the way.
|
|
|
Tip #3: The Power of Heal
|
|
The Healing Spring offers great aid towards the beginning of your quest. You need to find the Icon of Healing locked within the catacombs beneath the Shrine of Oath. Once you find the Icon, place it in the room with the giant spider that is clinging to the ceiling. This activates the Healing Spring.

|
Tip #4: Passage of Light
|
|
Located near the King's Throne is the Passage of Light that leads to a place of great danger. Here is where you will encounter great flying beasts and lightning fills the skies. This is not a place for the inexperienced player to explore and should be avoided until you increase in levels and equipment.

|
Tip #5: For Whom the Bell Tolls
|
|
This room is filled with the walking dead. The best way to defeat this horde of skeletons is to carefully shoot one of your arrows and hit the bell. By doing this, you will trigger their destruction.

|
|
|
Tip #6: Symbol of Passage
|
 |

|
Tip #7: Flame that no longer burns
|
 |
In order to use the Alter of Fire located at the top of the Light Tower, you will need to obtain the Icon of Fire from one of the three Heladin soldiers near the Queen's Lair. When you use the Icon of Fire, a path in the ocean below is revealed leading to the underwater cave.

Tip #8: Queen's Lair
|

To enter the Queen's Lair, travel to the Ocean Fort located near the Light Tower and seek three items of the Widda's. Once all three items are found and equipped you can pass the flames that guard the entrance.
|
|
|
Tip #9: The Great Escape
|
|
When exploring the Treasure House you might trigger a trap and fall into a poisonous pit below. If this happens, destroy all skeletons and look above for your escape route.

|
Tip #10: Power of the Sword
|
 |
The most powerful magic in this game is found hidden within the weapons. As a weapon continues to grow in levels so does its magic. In order to activate weapon magic, press X ? and ?(in that order) as you attack to unleash the magic of the weapon. You need to practice the timing of this technique to perfect it in combat situations.
